Little Rock, Ark. – The Republican Party of Arkansas is taking exception Tuesday morning to comments made by Senator Mark Pryor in an interview with 40/29 news yesterday in which he called Obamacare “an amazing success story.”

“Mark Pryor can’t hide from the fact that he provided the deciding vote to pass Obamacare, so now he’s trying to convince Arkansans that it’s good for them,” said GOP Chairman Doyle Webb. “That dog won’t hunt in Arkansas. We’re already seeing Obamacare’s rising premiums, job losses, reduced quality of care, and wasting of taxpayer dollars – and we don’t like what we see.”

Although an overwhelming majority of Arkansans disapprove of Obamacare and the President’s approval ratings in Arkansas are among the lowest anywhere in the nation, Senator Pryor continues to double-down on his support for the unpopular law.
