FAST AND FURIOUS: Where Does Democratic Congressional Candidate Gene Jeffress Stand on Eric Holder Contempt Vote?
Little Rock, Ark. – As Congressional Republicans and Democrats prepare to vote U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over his refusal to reveal Operation Fast and Furious documents, the Republican Party of Arkansas (RPA) calls on Democratic Fourth Congressional District Candidate Gene Jeffress to tell the people of Arkansas where he stands:
“Fast and Furious was a failed operation and the American people are right to demand answers from Attorney General Eric Holder and the Obama Administration,” said RPA Chairman Doyle Webb.
“Arkansans in the Fourth District deserve to know where congressional candidate Gene Jeffress stands as Democrats line up to join Republicans in holding Attorney General Holder in contempt over his refusal to comply with the U.S. House investigation into the Fast and Furious scandal. Hardworking Arkansas taxpayers deserve a congressman who will stand up to an administration that has clearly failed to live up to their promise of transparency. Tom Cotton called upon Attorney General Holder to resign months ago. Where does Gene Jeffress stand?”
