Little Rock - Second District Congressional candidate David Meeks announced today that he will not seek the Republican nomination for the Second Congressional District and instead enter the race for Arkansas House District 46. Republican Party of Arkansas Executive Director Chase Dugger says:

“We respect David Meeks’ decision to discontinue his run for the Second Congressional District seat. We are pleased with his entry into the Arkansas House District 46 race and believe that Meeks represents a team player and party builder who is wholeheartedly committed to serving the people of Arkansas.
