FAST AND FURIOUS: Where Does Democratic Congressional Candidate Scott Ellington Stand on Eric Holder Contempt Vote?
Little Rock, Ark. – As Congressional Republicans and Democrats prepare to vote U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over his refusal to reveal Operation Fast and Furious documents, the Republican Party of Arkansas (RPA) calls on Democratic First Congressional District Candidate Scott Ellington to tell the people of Arkansas where he stands:
“Fast and Furious was a failed operation and the American people are right to demand answers from Attorney General Eric Holder and the Obama Administration,” said RPA Chairman Doyle Webb.
“Arkansans in the First District deserve to know where congressional candidate Scott Ellington stands as Democrats line up to join Republicans in holding Holder in contempt over his refusal to comply with the U.S. House investigation into the Fast and Furious scandal. Hardworking Arkansas taxpayers deserve a congressman who will stand up to an administration that has clearly failed to live up to their promise of transparency.”
