NEWS RELEASE

Little Rock – Today the Republican Party of Arkansas announced their Winter Republican Leadership Summit will be held Saturday December 5th. This year’s event will be held at The Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs. The Summit will include their Winter RPA State Committee meeting, grassroots training sessions, and a U.S. Senate Straw Poll featuring potential Senate candidates in the 2010 Republican Primary.

“We are looking forward to this weekend” said RPA Chairman Doyle Webb. “The training sessions will excite and motivate our grassroots and the straw poll will give our Senate candidates a platform to express why they should replace Blanche Lincoln.”

Tickets to the weekend will be $15 and only sold in blocks of 10. Any guest that presents a Republican Leadership Summit ticket at the registration desk, and gives the RPA their contact information, will be allowed to attend all the events associated with the Summit. However, only guests with a current Arkansas driver’s license, a current Arkansas College/University ID, or a current voter registration card, and must be at least 18 years old by November 3rd 2010 will be allowed to vote in the straw poll.
