Website Reviews Coming In

Numerous blogs are reporting on the new Arkansas GOP website.  Val's Bien writes "The Republican Party of Arkansas now has a new website. Boy! It is so much better looking than the old one they had up. The look is very clean without any clutter. Nice colors, easy to see icons and large letters, no need to squint! Nice touch having Doyle Webb on the video introducing the website. They are also using the social media technologies, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and even a blog."

Blake's Think Tank reports "The Republican Party of Arkansas launched a new Web site today which embraces many social media tools including a blog, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube.  The design of the site is clean and the navigation is straightforward. What’s more interesting is that the RPA seems to have developed a social media strategy. They used a video message from the chairman Doyle Webb to launch the site. And in the media release Mr. Webb notes, “The use of Facebook and Twitter will help us build online activits, and in turn, generate on-the-ground outreach for the party.”

Blogger Jason Tolbert writes in The Tolbert Report "At www.arkansasgop.org, you can read about the mission of RPA, join in a blog discussion, and follow Republican events in Arkansas.  The new site is also a one-stop-shop for information on how to sign up for e-mail updates, contribute, volunteer, and tell-a-friend about RPA."  The Tolbert Report also has the video of Arkansas Republican Chairman Doyle Webb welcoming visitors to the new website.

John Lyon blogs in Politics in Arkansas "The Republican Party of Arkansas announces the launching of a new Web site today. The site features information on how contribute to or volunteer for GOP candidates, a calendar of upcoming events, a blog and a statement of the state party’s mission, which is to “support Republican candidates who are passionate advocates a for tax reform, fiscal sanity, less government, smart stewardship of the environment, life, the family, the 2nd Amendment and individual liberty.”

We will update you as more and more bloggers write about the new website of the Republican Party of Arkansas.  In the meantime, take a look around our state of the art website.  If you are a blogger add your blog to our blogroll and write about our new website on your blog.

This is great. This will make it possible for those interested if finding out about upcoming events to do so. This will also be a great way to help re-educate the people of Arkansas about what the GOP truly is. Up until now, all the general population of Arkansas knew about the Republican Party was that it was not the name of the party that their parents, grandparents, great grandparents, ect., had voted for in Arkansas for decades. We have known for a long time that the slanderous version which the mainstream media has been feeding the general public for years wouldn't appeal to anyone. This will help communicate the true Conservative principles and values that have long been the heart and soul of the GOP, to the people of this state. It is time that we let the world know just what the GOP truly stands for.

I hope it be possible in the future to include contact info for the various county GOP committees in Arkansas on this website? Let's gear up for 2010, and really take it to em!!!

I thought Chairman Webb's intro to the website was great. Doyle is a great statesman. I hope the party will rally behind him and get somethings accomplished. I can tell you from experience that back biteing and bickering in the party will not get it done. Unity is the answer even if it means giving in just a little.
