Arkansas Democrat Senators Are Acting Like Ostriches - Burying Their Heads In The Sand

The more I read the more amazed I become.  For months now, President Obama has been making speeches, promoting his so-called health care reform.  He has consistently called for bipartisan support, all the while decrying the lack of republican support.  He has even told Republicans if you have a better idea, tell me what it is.  Well, the Republicans have done just that. We have given the Administration several proposals such as: health insurance portability, small business pools, and tort reform.  Every one of them has been ignored by Democrats.

It's pretty easy to understand why very few Republicans support the President's plan to nationalize our health care system.  Now our two Democrat Senators, Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor are being quoted as saying a bipartisan health care reform is still possible even though no Republicans have endorsed the latest proposal.

Senator Lincoln said "I think there's certainly opportunity for Republicans to take a look and think of . . . what we're doing and how we're improving the bill."  What's the alternative?  I haven't heard a lot of alternatives from the other side and it's hard for them to argue that we can continue on the same trajectory that we are on."  I can only wonder, why is Senator Lincoln acting like an ostrich?  She's burying her head in the sand and refusing to even lift it up long enough to listen to the people of Arkansas.

If she would just lift her head out of the sand, she would hear many Republican proposals for ways that we can improve our health care system.  But she isn't really interested in that.  Just as she isn't interested in listening to the people of Arkansas.

Then we have our other Democrat Senator Mark Pryor being quoted as saying a bipartisan bill is possible.  Oh really, Senator?  Who have you been listening to?  Certainly not to any Republicans.  Certainly not to the people of Arkansas.

Now we have both Democrat Senators from Arkansas acting like Ostriches and burying their heads in the sand.  Come up for air.  Listen to the people of Arkansas.  They don't want government run health care.

    Congressman Snyder:

As one of your constituents, I feel that our views and requests have not been represented, and even ignored, by you sir.

Even though you will not be standing for re-election, you still have important business in representing your constituents in Congressional District 2 before your departure.

The reason that I write to you today is because of my "firm" opposition and dismay at your silence and lack of representing your people's wishes in support the Birthright Citizenship Act as well as the Save Act, involving illegal aliens.

While I have disagreed with you on a number of issues most recently, and your supporting of
issues that your District did not favor or want, I hope you will reconsider your position and stance on these two pieces of legislation in your final days as our representative. This is what the people in your Congressional District 2 wants supported.

It is time to stop the federal government in granting citizenship to babies born to illegal alien mothers and fathers referred to as "anchor babies." This is a pronounced and "undeserved" reward to those illegal-parents who have entered and stayed in the United States in violation of America's immigration laws. They are "criminals" by law while the Administration seeks to reward their behavior.

These illegal mothers not only get immediate access to a whole array taxpayer-funded social services for their babies, but these illegal alien families get a virtual guarantee that they will never be asked to leave the country. H.R. 1868, the Birthright Citizenship Act, would change this and this is what American citizens who vote are demanding. Washington is blind to America's demand for justice in stopping and preventing these giant giveaway programs.

While the SAVE Act would "enforce" the law at the border and in the interior. I am particularly glad about the workplace verification measures found in this bill, which would provide employers with the tools they need to verify the eligibility of their employees. This could possibly save as many as 15 million jobs to already "unemployed American citizens."

I request that you return to your Arkansas roots and to those, like myself, that have supported you in the past but who are now against your voting with the liberal Washington agenda and using you like a lap-dog! Stand up for your constituents and support these two measures to the benefit of America and our own Arkansas people.

    A past supporter and constituent...

    Respectfully resentful,

    Beau Bowling
    Congressional District 2

Hallelujah! Something I can finally agree with on with the
    "looney left."

Wednesday night, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann agreed with former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean that the Senate health care bill, as it currently stands, should die ! Olbermann said. "This is not health, this is not care, this is certainly not reform..."

I can hardly agree more! Kill the Bill ! Start over, fresh, from the beginning! We may need reform, but we sure as hell don't need another government "Entitlement" program and debt without funding! Highly imperfect insurance reforms, like Social Security and Medicare in their initial incarnations, have gotten more comprehensive over time. To make the point, just look at our current deficit and lack of funding for Social Security, Medicare and Medicad to the tune of $59 Billion. And, they want to initiate and establish another government "Entitlement" without taking care of the already unfunded "Entitlement programs ?" Give me a break. It it time to put this to an end and fund our already "unfunded Entitlement obligations!"

Even Democratic National Committee chairman, Howard Dean, says that the Senate health care bill, as it currently stands, should die! What a relief. I applaud Dean for going against his own "looney left" to say this is a bad bill (even if I disagree for the reasons it's bad).

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) President Andy Stern wrote to his Union Members (who are mostly "Illegals):
"[Due to the] concessions made to Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.). "The public option is declared impossible. Americans cannot purchase Medicare at an earlier age. " Hooray for Joe Lieberman!

And they say we "Conservatives" can not reach across the Isle! And they say bipartisan gestures are dead! I want to congratulate those on the left who will make killing this bill a true bipartisan reality.

I am a Democrat of the Democratic Party, and I do not agree with our Democratic Party representatives in Washington.

Our Democratic Party has moved to the far left, and we in the center and right are extremely dissatisfied with the "Change We Can Believe In" politicians and their obsession with making our Nation more like the Europe our forefathers had left behind.

At the very minimum, most Democrats already know their pleas to the Democratic Party are only being answered by repeated insult and injury. Many of our elected officials are no longer thinking of themselves as being our representatives, but instead refer to themselves as leaders in the true form of tyrants.

Nearly everyone of our elected representatives within the Democratic Party are no longer following in the time-honored footsteps laid down by the founding fathers of our great Nation. More importantly, we as democrats see our elected representatives within the Democratic Party abandoning the principles and values as set forth within the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.

Furthermore, this is only the beginning of our problems as Democrats. The current Democratic Party leadership is tainted by corruption, and the liberals among us are supporting far-left socialist radicals with their agendas based on implementing socialist political doctrines into laws that are non-constitutional. This is a real threat to everything we hold sacred in America, and they are gaining evermore control over our Democratic Party, our Nation, and the American people.

To all intents and purposes, our Democratic Party is undermining and destroying our American democracy as founded in protecting individual liberty and freedom. The examples are so numerous it is nearly imposable to keep up with all of them.

Despite this, we as Democrats can restore control of the Democratic Party back to the party members. All we need to do is cut off donations to the local, state, and national headquarters of the Democratic Party, and to make sure the donations are made directly to patriotic and honorable Democratic Party candidates that are not corrupt or Socialists.

So please help spread the message to everyone of our fellow Democrats. Also, don't forget to contact and request the Unions and other outside contributors to follow our lead as patriotic Americans.

Thank you, and God Bless America.

I would like to know who to call to gain the RNC support for office.

It is my intention to be a loud and aggressive voice for freedom and the American way of life.

I love our current representatives. Except when it comes to fighting for our rights. I don't want politeness and civility when we are horribly attacked by the Democrats.

I will get in the fight and am not afraid to take them on.

Any information that someone can share to help me get started is appreciated.

I am as outraged as everyone, but I want to know what plan our leaders are putting together to defeat Senator Lincoln. This woman, along with Landrieu from Louisiana, has prostituded herself and her office. She must be defeated...please, someone tell me how we are going to do that.

I read some of the post by people who support Senator Lincoln. We need to change the minds of the people and get rid of the left wing attitudes.

Not one Senator has answered my emails. I will vote as an independent, but I will vote against what is in office--time for a change.

I am so tired of trying to get Senator Lincoln and representative Vic Snyder to listen to me when I say I don't the government anywhere involved in my health care. Now I hear they are cutting my Medicare that I worked and paid for years. Where do they get nerve to decide for themselves what is best for me. I know we have good candidates willing to go against Vic Snyder, but who can run against Blanche Lincoln. I want to start campaining for a republican candidate for Senator of Arkansas now. When 2010 comes I want be ready. Who can do it? Who will stand up to the challenge, and I will vote for them. I will campaign for them.

Democratic Party - Democratic Reform Party

As Democrats of the Democratic Party, we join together in seeking reform within the Democratic Party.

Many Democrats already know their elected representatives within the Democratic Party are no longer following in the time-honored footsteps laid down by the founding fathers of our great Nation. More importantly, we as democrats see our elected representatives within the Democratic Party abandoning the values and principles as set forth within the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.

At the very least, many of our elected representatives within the Democratic Party are no longer abiding to the sole reason the Democratic-Republican Party was founded by Thomas Jefferson - "Strong state governments with a weaker federal government."

This is only the beginning of our problems as Democrats, for many of our elected representatives within the Democratic Party have clearly set their own agendas over the members of the Democratic Party, our Nation, and the American people. Overall, many of them no longer think of themselves as being our elected representatives, and now refer to themselves as leaders in the true form of tyrants.

Most Democrats already know their pleas are only being answered by repeated insult and injury by their elected representatives within the Democratic Party. Despite this, we as Democrats can restore control of the Democratic Party back to the party members. All we need to do is cut off donations to the local, state, and national headquarters of the Democratic Party, and to make sure the donations are made directly to worthy and honorable Democratic Party candidates.

So spread the message to everyone of our fellow Democrats, for the Democrat members are taking back control of the Democratic Party. Also, please don't forget to contact and request the Unions and other outside contributors to follow our lead as patriotic Americans. Thank you!

On Sept. 30th three amendments were presented to the Finance Committee for inclusion in the Health Care Reform Bill. Amendment One, Abortions could not be funded by tax payer dollars. Sen. Lincoln voted No and the Bill failed by one vote. Amendment Two: Health Care Providers could not be compelled to perform Abortions if it violated their concious. Again Sen. Lincoln voted NO narrowly defeating the amendment. I would hate for people to have the "choice." This is a direct violation of the Fist Amendment as Congress is establishing a law that prohibits the free exercise of religion. Amendment Three: Verification of Legal Citizenship. You guessed it Sen. Lincoln voted NO helping to narrowly defeat it. This is in direct violation of her promises in town halls in Arkansas.
