Mike Beebe Stands Squarely with Barack Obama

In 2006, Mike Beebe stood "squarely with Barack Obama." Is this why he refused to speak up and tell Arkansans how Obamacare would impact our state? Is this why the Governor held a press conference the day after the health care bill was passed to tell us that it would cost our state $200 million or more per year, and that he would not have voted for it?

Arkansas News Bureau reported on July 25, 2010:

Beebe will be out of office by 2017, but he said he has an obligation to think farther ahead than the immediate future. He said he still does not know how the state can come up with an additional $200 million a year.

The governor also said the health care overhaul fails to address cost containment, which he called “the No. 1 thing they should have been dealing with.”

So why didn't the Governor press upon our Congressmen and Senators to seriously consider the complications a health care bill would create for our state budget? Why did Beebe ignore the fact that 64% of Arkansans opposed the bill?

Or what about the Governor's refusal to stand with dozens of other states against the unconstitutional unfunded mandate Obamacare imposes upon our state - Does the Gov. think forcing people to purchase insurance or face fine is ethical?

Arkansas deserves better. Arkansas deserves an ethical leader who will take a proactive and hands-on approach to governing our state efficiently and honestly! Arkansas needs Jim Keet for Governor in 2010!

Beth Anne Rankin on Fox News' "The Huckabee Show"

Congressional Candidate Beth Anne Rankin appeared on Fox News' The Huckabee Show to discuss the increasing number of women in politics.

Rankin is a small business owner and spent seven years working as Governor Huckabee’s Policy Advisor for State and Federal Affairs.

The people of Arkansas' Fourth District deserve a consistent conservative voice, not a so-called "blue dog" Democrat like, Mike Ross.

Bill Clinton: No More Midas Touch

Bill Clinton has lost his midas touch. Recently we learned the former President will travel to the natural state to stump and raise funds on September 8 for Arkansas Democrats: Blanche Lincoln, Chad Causey and Carolyn Staley...

The problem is that even "gold" Arkansas Democrats have no chance of winning in a state that overwhelmingly opposes the liberal agenda of their national party leader - an agenda in which Arkansas Democrats like Blanche Lincoln have enabled! An agenda that 69% of Arkansans disapprove of! Not to mention that all THREE Democrats are trailing miserably behind their conservative opponents in the polls!

Bill Clinton represents a dying breed of so called "conservative Democrats" and as Arkansans witness both Clintons (Bill and Hillary) stand side-by-side with President Obama, they know that just because they have "always voted Democrat," 2010 is too critical of a year not to break family tradition!

So, the Republican Party of Arkansas would like to welcome President Bill Clinton to the state! Because even Bill Clinton cannot escape the shadow of a President that has led our country into $13 trillion dollar debt and forced liberal legislation like Obamacare down our throats! Not to mention the $787 billion Stimulus that was promoted as a jobs bill, but funded things like a study on how cocaine affects monkeys! Yea, we're not kidding!

When will Lincoln, Causey and Staley invite President Barack Obama to Arkansas? We're guessing not anytime soon...

And don't forget to vote for real conservatives on November 2nd: Congressman John Boozman, Rick Crawford and Allen Kerr!

90th Anniversary of 19th Amendment: Women's Right to Vote

On August 18th 1920, the nineteenth amendment was ratified, granting women the right to vote.

"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex" and "Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."

The Republican Party played a leading role in securing women the right to vote. In 1896, the Republican Party was the first major political party to support women's suffrage. And in 1919, it was a Republican controlled House and Senate which voted to approve the woman suffrage amendment. When the 19th Amendment finally was added to the Constitution, 26 of 36 state legislatures that had voted to ratify it were under Republican control. The first woman elected to Congress was a Republican, Jeanette Rankin from Montana in 1917. So it was by hardworking Republican hands that gender barriers were first demolished in America.

At the Republican Party of Arkansas, we believe all Americans should have equal opportunity regardless of race, nationality, origin, gender, or creed. Today, we are proud to salute the brave and courageous women who stood strong in the face of opposition to secure voting rights for females of generations to come!

    Flip Flop Alert: Joyce Elliot

At the Political Animals Club lunch in June, Congressional Candidate and liberal Democrat Joyce Elliot said she would not run against Washington because "any pinhead" could do that.

Yet, it appears her first tv ad attempts to do just that. See below.

Bottom line is that if you're not going to talk about Washington - then you're not listening to the people of Arkansas. Fearful and desperate, Elliot decided to change her tune as she continues to significantly trail conservative Republican Candidate Tim Griffin in the polls. Is that leadership? We certainly don't think so!

Joyce Elliot is just another candidate in the Democrat Party of Arkansas' liberal lineup this election year. What Arkansas needs is not another vote for Nancy Pelosi or rubberstamp for the President's liberal agenda - but a conservative leader and veteran like Tim Griffin who will fight to stop out of control goverment spending.
