2016 "A Day of Service" Interfaith Prayer Breakfast

Mark your calendar for the observance of the congressionally legislated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This United States holiday marks the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and is observed on the third Monday of January each year. In honor of the King Holiday, the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission (AMLKC) will host the 2016 Day of Service-“MEGA KING FEST” event on Monday, January 18, 2016.

Please mark your calendar for the 2016 Prayer Breakfast, in observance of the congressionally legislated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a United States holiday marking the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., observed on the third Monday of January each year, around the time of King’s birthday, January 15, 1929.  The 2016 Prayer Breakfast (hosted by the state’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission) will be held at the Jack Stephens Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), 2801 S. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2016.
